EIGHTEEN PUMPERS ORDERED BY THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE

E-ONE RECEIVES 18 PUMPER USAF ORDER

E-ONE was recently awarded a contract for 18 custom eMAX™ pumpers from the United States Air Force.

“We are honored the United States Air Force has trusted E-ONE and our innovative eMAX pumper to help our armed services protect lives and property,” said Kent Tyler, President and CEO of E-ONE.

The 18 new eMAX pumpers are a top mount configuration on a Typhoon® chassis with a long cab. The pumpers will feature 1250 gallons per minute pumping capability, a 500 gallon water tank and a 30 gallon integral foam cell.

E-ONE actually debuted the top-mount eMAX configuration on a commercial chassis during the 2013 Fire Department Instructors Conference and has received significant interest in the design since its debut due to its expansive storage space on a traditional top-mount configuration.

“Our customers will benefit from the unique advantages that the eMAX top-mount configuration provides – the enhanced visibility of the top mount design combined with a narrow 22” wide pump operator’s panel, compact 206” wheelbase, lower pre-connected hand lines, as well as the vast amount of compartment storage space available,” said R.J. Jones, E-ONE’s U.S. Government & Airport Products sales manager. “We are proud to continue providing the best quality, most innovative products to our military first responders.”
