Steve spent the last 29 years at American LaFrance / LTI involved in the manufacturing, refurbishment and service of LTI aerials. As a certified welder, he has completed major structural repairs and modifications to all models of Ladder Towers, Inc. and American LaFrance product lines. Prior to joining Fire Line Equipment, Steve held the lead service technician position at LTI overseeing a group of refurb technicians responsible for the repair and refurbishment of aerial ladders, hydraulic systems, fire pumps and chassis’s.
With the addition of Steve to the Fire Line Equipment team, the company now has a combined 97 years of fire apparatus service and repair experience."

Fire Line Equipment - Aerial Preventive Maintenance:

Preventive Maintenance performed on all aerial makes and models. Specializing in the repair and maintenance of the LTI product line. Our aerial service can be performed at your firehouse or at our facility in East Earl, Pennsylvania






Bi yearly and annual preventive maintenance contracts
Inspect overall operation of full hydraulic system
Inspect operation of outrigger and aerial controls
Lube all rung rail surfaces, sheave wheels and other critical pivot points
Change hydraulic filters
Inspect all wear pads and guides
Adjust extension and retraction cables
Re-Torque critical mounting hardware to manufacturers spec
